Balancing Point

This vid was made back in '04. I'm continuing my streak of older videos that I want everyone to see. This is just cool. Simple editing but the sculptures are wild. Not much else I can say about it. Check it out.

50 People, One Question

Here's another set of videos I've been meaning to share for some time now.

The first "50 Questions" I saw was the one from London. I watched it through once and after the video ended I sat, still, staring at my computer screen. Anything can happen, realistically and metaphysically. Also, every person has manufactured, over time, their perfect world. I think my favorite part about these videos (aside from the beautiful composition and depth of field) is that almost every answer given is a possible circumstance. Things that people imagine to be paradise (which is a loose term) only seems like a fantasy in their imagination but when they say it out loud, it really isn't so ridiculous at all. People have dreams and aspirations that are really not far from their reach. Makes you think

There are a few more on Vimeo but these two are my favorite. Take the time to watch them.

Britain's Got Talent...

Man this guy really wants to walk up that sidewalk but just can't quite bring himself to do it... literally. Found this on barstool. He looks like an infant learning to walk again. Homeboy in the car holds himself together for the majority of the clip but begins to break down towards the end.

Slam-Dunk 2010

People are freakin' over this vid. Check it out.

Ed Bassmaster - Fishin' With Skippy

I stumbled upon Ed Bassmaster about 6 months back. He really is on the verge of turning into a web celebrity. He's pretty flippin' funny but he does tend to be a little hit or miss alot of the time.

Double Rainbow Tribute Pipe

This is a great 3 minute spot made by my man Max out in Colorado. Such a great concept, such a great art, and most of all what a sweet vid. Check it out!

"Filmed at the Colorado Project, this is small piece from a larger DVD I am working on for the Project. Turn your speakers up because more beats from Purple Bird. This is a collab between Darby, Buck, Adam G, 2BA and Eusheen made the disk" - Max Tubman

Take The 7 Minutes To Watch This

This is a sick vid of the life of a solid rocket booster. I dont know much about space but i do know that my eyes were glued to this for the entire time. It starts making sense at about 1:54, when shit gets real.

Jon Fishman: Artists: Modern Drummer Magazine

I love hearing what Fish has to say. He doesn't get to speak out too often. Being a drummer, I'm always dying to hear his input about everything that the redman usually covers.

EL MUNDO

When I first heard/watched this video, a strange sensation of anger took over me. I thought it was so wildly obnoxious that I wanted to punch everyone involved in its creation. Once my man Leland told me that homeboy in the video is deaf, it did ease the rage. I still don't understand its true purpose though. No matter who you are, you know this is not music. See for yourself...

Big up to Le

The Marshmallow Test

This is amazing. Never would I imagine that it would be so possible to capture the subtleties of children behavior. I could watch this 20 times straight.

Wale Steppin' It Up

Really like "Attention Deficit". World Tour be a sick jam.

Highest Dive In History. Hight: So Fucking High!

I've had many a laugh about this here dude. Shout out to my man Stefan for the good times with Zinc Nose. This guy looks too beefy to be a world class high diver. He's gotta be at least a buck-80. I feel like I should see him throwing the shot put or the discus or even the hammer in the summer olympics. Not flipping through the sky like a feather in the cool breeze.

Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy

This is priceless humor.

My favorite one is: "One day the white man will put down his gun and the native american will put down his tomahawk, and then the white man will pick up his gun again because, ha-ha suckers"

M.I.A. "Born Free" new video banned from MTV and YouTube

Not sure what to take of this. Seems pretty fucked up morally but another part of me loves it. Wish I could see a behind the scenes vid.
